Lance is honest, fair, and prompt! Called Polar Air Heating & Cooling when our AC went down at the worst possible time, as they were highly recommended in the local dads group. Lance arrived, diagnosed the problem, and didn’t try any cheesy up-sells — just did the job right and charged a fair price. Left us with a fully functional, freshly cleaned unit and some tips on how to keep it running smoothly. I’ll use him again and will recommend to friends.

Polar Air Heating & Cooling came out the same day that I called and did a complete assessment, performed maintenance, and gave me helpful tips. The service was top notch and fairly priced. Great experiences with Lance/Polar Air Heating & Cooling. First was semi-annual maintenance. Lance was thorough, straight-forward, and communicated clearly. Next was the replacement of a mini-split unit that was more than 10 years old. Lance gave us different options and ensured the unit we selected would be eligible for the Inflation Reduction Act tax credit.
Our AC had been out for almost a week in what seemed like the hottest week of the summer. We had already had another company come out twice to look at our unit and they did not seem to share our urgency in getting it fixed. They ultimately said we needed a new unit. We decided to get another quote. We were lucky to find Lance and he came out the next morning. He reassured me he would look at everything and would not leave until I had my AC back that day! He agreed a new unit was necessary, but he was able to do the job for ~$2,000 less than the other company as he was giving us what we needed and not trying to sell us something extra. As promised, he worked his butt off that day and we had our AC back on that night. Not only was his pricing fair, he was a great guy who I feel you can trust. He was very straightforward and I am so thankful we found him. Would use him 10x over and recommend to anyone!

Lance is fantastic to work with. Everything he said he was going to do, he did. He was on time for every appointment, and he responded quickly to every call, email, and text. I was never left wondering what was going on. I always try to give my business to a family-owned company, so I was especially happy to work with Lance. Based on what I researched and the quotes I got, Lance saved us $4 – $5K over what the big names would have charged us for the same exact equipment and work. He and Bobby were exactly on time on the day of the installation and they finished 2 hours ahead of schedule. Lance is handling all the warranty registrations and made this as painless a process as it could be. No one wants to replace a whole HVAC system so when you have to, work with someone who reduces stress and doesn’t try to upsell you during every conversation. I first chose Polar Air Heating & Cooling because they were a local company and had a user friendly website that included prices for their services (which is rare for an HVAC company). Scheduling was very easy, and Lance was quick and responsive. Upon arrival, Lance was friendly and helpful and did a great job. He was thorough and explained what he was doing in simple terms. He did not try to sell additional services or products. The services were fairly priced, and I was pleased with the work. I will definitely be using Polar in the future.
